About ChoreTown
ChoreTown is a family chore tracker built and operated by SMB Venture Group L.L.C. It helps parents and kids turn household chores into routines that stick, by rewarding consistent effort rather than one-off task completion.
What we believe
Most chore charts work for two weeks and then quietly die. We built ChoreTown around the research on what actually helps kids build lasting habits: recognize effort, reward showing up consistently, keep goals personal rather than competitive, and gradually step back as habits take hold. You can read the specific studies behind each design choice on our science page.
That's also why kids in ChoreTown grow their own little town as they stay consistent: progress they can see and be proud of, which is never bought and never taken away.
